Aid-in-Dying Training for End-of-Life Doulas
Thank you so much for your interest in our trainings! We look forward to your unique and skillful contributions to the care of patients considering or planning on using medical aid in dying.
The Academy offers two components:
1. Verification of Completion
The Academy will offer Verification of Completion for those who have watched both 45-minute videos and passed both quizzes. Respondents will need to take (and possibly retake) the quizzes until they have a passing score of three out of four correct. Submit your answers from the quiz page, and if needed, simply hit the refresh or back button, to re-take the quizzes until you achieve a passing score. Once our computer records indicate that you have passed both quizzes, we will email the “Verification of Completion” directly to the email you provided and will also keep a copy in our files. This may take a few days.
2. Patient referrals
After receiving Verification of Completion, those who are interested may become eligible for patient referrals through the Academy by being mentored and supported through an aid-in-dying death by an experienced Academy clinician. Details about how to receive this mentoring will be included in the email that contains your Verification of Completion.
